There were moments of fear last night in Sassari's Monte Rosello neighborhood.

Around 10:30 pm, a fire, probably of arson, broke out on a piece of land in the upper part of Via Grazia Deledda, shortly after the Church of the Immaculate Heart.

"It was very close to the houses," residents report, "we were scared."

Also because there were gas cylinders on the ground floor of the houses and the worst was feared.

Firefighters rushed to the scene and quickly extinguished the blaze. The grass, which had previously been very tall, has now been reduced to ashes.
