Sassari: Two cars and a scooter set on fire in the historic center: "The fire was probably started deliberately."
The alarm was raised in the early hours of the morning in Via Seminario Vecchio, traces of devil's breath were found on one of the vehicles destroyed by the flames.

A fire has been reported this morning in Sassari on Via Seminario Vecchio, in the historic center.
Around 5 a.m., a car caught fire for reasons currently under investigation. Another car and a scooter were also involved and were already engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived.
The fire brigade took steps to put out the fire and limit the damage, preventing the fire from spreading to other cars parked nearby, not without difficulty due to the narrow streets of the historic centre.
A Carabinieri patrol was also on the scene. The fire was most likely started deliberately, as traces of diavolina were found on one of the two cars engulfed in flames . All three vehicles were destroyed: the interiors of the Ford and Alfa Romeo appeared to have melted, while only the skeleton of the scooter remained.
