A scuffle erupted last night on Via Ardara in Sassari: three people were arrested by state police, who responded to a report of a fight in the Monte Rosello Alto neighborhood. The argument broke out between a boy and his mother, who contacted the police.

Upon seeing the patrol car, the 18-year-old's underage girlfriend and her father demanded explanations, and tempers quickly flared. Police had to use a Taser twice to subdue the 41-year-old. His daughter, a boxer, seeing her father's condition, kicked an officer, fracturing his sternum, according to the medical report.

The trio—a 41-year-old, an 18-year-old, and a minor—were arrested on charges of assault, resisting a public official, and criminal damage. Judge Valentina Nuvoli ordered the 41-year-old, represented by attorney Marco Salaris, to sign during the summary hearing held in court today. The documents relating to the 18-year-old, represented by attorney Gabriela Pinna Nossai, were forwarded to the judge, who had already ordered a restraining order against him. The summary hearing for the young woman is scheduled for tomorrow. The prosecutor in the case was Erica Angioni.
