An extraordinary patrol was carried out last Thursday in Sassari's historic center. Police cars, the Guardia di Finanza, the Carabinieri, and local police were deployed.

The joint effort focused on the area from Via La Marmora to Piazza Mercato, using foot patrols. Checks were conducted at two private clubs in the area, and a total of 100 people were identified.

Further checks also involved the Cappuccini neighborhood and the area of Via Sorso, Via Palmaera, and nearby streets, considered strategic from an urban security perspective.

The activity will continue in the coming days. Meanwhile, yesterday, yet another brawl broke out between two Nigerians on Corso Vittorio Emanuele, with one person taken to the hospital for treatment after being hit in the head with a bottle.
