The 58-year-old from Sassari remains in prison in Bancali accused of extortion against a woman with whom he had had a brief relationship.
This morning the investigating judge Giuseppe Grotteria rejected the request for house arrest by the defense lawyer Elias Vacca.
According to the accusations, the prosecutor is Angelo Beccu, for over six years the man blackmailed a woman from Sassari by threatening to release a video depicting a sexual relationship between the two. The woman allegedly gave the 58-year-old over 30 thousand euros over the years before deciding to report him. Last Saturday the arrest of the man from Sassari by the flying squad in a shopping center, after having pocketed 15 thousand euros from the alleged victim. Lawyer Vacca has already announced that he will appeal against the judge's decision.
