House arrest and an electronic tag were placed on a man in Sassari accused of domestic abuse and personal injury against his ex-wife.

According to the charges, after the relationship ended, the man allegedly engaged in a series of obsessive and persecutory behaviors intended to convince his ex-partner to resume their relationship. A few days earlier, during their last meeting, the man, accusing the woman of cheating on him, ended up threatening and assaulting her, causing her injuries.

The investigations conducted by the police headquarters' mobile squad have acquired a series of important elements that would demonstrate the suspect's responsibility. Based on the findings of the State Police, the court ordered the aforementioned measure.
