Located inside the "Adelasia Cocco" sports park, the play area presents serious problems. The anti-trauma mats at the foot of the swings and carousels have deep holes and put children at risk in the event of falls. Weeds grow out of control and signs are uprooted and left on the ground. The now broken play structures require extraordinary maintenance, the surrounding flooring is worn out and lacks safety requirements.
The park in question is frequented every day by many children who put a strain on the toys, structures which, after years, remain the same. «The games should be changed and, above all, conservative maintenance should be carried out», observe the users of the park, «structures worn to the point of being no longer usable».
The families are asking for immediate intervention in the area, where falls and slips occur due to the state of degradation of the flooring and the presence of soil in the playgrounds.
