A visit marked by recognition and closeness by the Minister of Defense Guido Crosetto to the personnel of the “Sassari” Mechanized Brigade , where he wanted to personally convey his greetings and thanks to the men and women in uniform.

During the meeting, the Minister emphasized his personal and institutional ties with the Armed Forces : "I'm here to thank you. I've already met with some of you in Lebanon, during a difficult time. I've supported you day by day, like a member of the family. Because that's how I understand my role as Minister: to serve those who serve #Defense."

Crosetto emphasized the value of the military's daily service, often out of the spotlight and not always understood by the public : "Defense exists thanks to the men and women who get up every morning, with their own problems and families, and still choose to wear the uniform, do their duty, and serve the country. Our task is to defend the people we love and, with them, Italy as a whole. Even when someone doesn't understand or underestimates your work."

He then concluded his speech with a message of appreciation and encouragement: "I thank you for what you do, for how you do it, and for what you represent. Good luck to everyone, and a big hug."
