Great concern for the workers and workers of the municipal office cleaning service and other buildings in the municipality of Sassari. What causes fear is the latest tender, called by the administration on 16 June, "for cleaning services for buildings used by the Municipality" from 2023 to 2027. A "historically unique" tender for all buildings, they write in a notes the 52 operators, while this time it was "instead divided into two lots elaborated according to the cold and inhuman logic of numbers". In which, they continue, "there is no account or respect for the fate of many mothers and fathers of families, who receive about 500 euros a month".

According to the workers, the division into two lots "enormously" penalizes the first, "where almost eighty percent of the workforce is concentrated, while it rewards in an incomprehensible way lot two, that of the other buildings, in which almost fifty percent of the economic resources of the contract while to date only about twenty percent of the workforce employed operates there”. The impression, for the authors of the press release, now under the Pfe company, is that the first lot "would be subject to social butchery", they declare, "and downward work, with redundant work units and cuts to the already fragile conditions of pay slips, while the company that would be awarded lot two could earn much more from a simple lot than from the overall management of the single contract, even with all its difficulties”.

The document specifies how the stabilization requests brought to the Municipality have been "rejected" and, they report, "we continue to submit to the yoke of the tender fields but we have endured, because we would never have thought that the system adopted for this tender could cause the tragedy economic for some of us”. The call will close on Monday 3 July at 4pm.
