This is the outcome of the trial, concluded in court in Sassari, in which a 60-year-old from the Turritan capital was accused of having beaten up in the garage, in 2020, the person he thought had committed thefts against him. Another person was also charged in the proceedings, defended as the main accused by the lawyer Paolo Spano, and who, according to the prosecution, had threatened the alleged perpetrator of the thefts with prison.
The panel, chaired by judge Giancosimo Mura, alongside Monia Adami and Sara Pelicci, ruled that the 60-year-old should not be prosecuted for kidnapping charges, acquitting him for receiving and possessing explosives as well as for trespassing. . Instead, sentencing him to three years for the injuries and for the arbitrary exercise of his rights, reclassification of extortion, a crime originally present in the indictment.
