The defendant, 65 years old from Sassari, in the first hearing had appeared before the judges of the Court of Sassari affirming his total extraneousness to the facts.

This morning the panel of judges chaired by Giancosimo Mura, alongside Monia Adami and Sara Pellici, decided to proceed with the appointment of a child neuropsychiatrist , accepting the request for renewal of the psychological report to which the girl suffering from serious disorder had been subjected intellectual. A request made since the probative incident by the defense lawyer, Sabrina Falchi, who listed a series of flaws in the expert's report "where there are uncertainties and contradictions". Request that had been rejected by the prosecutor Mario Leo and by the civil party lawyer, Arianna Denule, who believe the minor's stories to be reliable.

The facts date back to 2018 and continued until January 2, 2019, when the girl was entrusted to the neighbor in moments of parental absence, a relationship of trust that grew over the years until it turned into friendship. The parents of the child filed a complaint, with the aggravating circumstance of having committed the crime against the minor who had not turned 14 at the time. We will therefore proceed with the appointment of a neuropsychiatrist in order to ascertain the reliability of the statements of the offended person.
