Race against time to save the life of a 4-year-old Sardinian boy .
The little one, positive for Covid-19 and suffering from a serious pathology , was hospitalized at the Santissima Annunziata hospital in Sassari , but the seriousness of his condition required an emergency transfer to Genoa .
For this, urgent air transport was requested from the Air Force .
A C-130J of the 46th Air Brigade (capable of loading and transporting an entire ambulance in flight) took off from Pisa, which reached the island, loading the child and the parents, assisted by a medical team and then taking off towards Liguria.
After landing in Genoa, the child was taken to the Gaslini pediatric hospital , where he was hospitalized.
