Sassari, a compactor overturns: driver in critical condition

An accident occurred this afternoon on Provincial Road 93 in Sassari, near La Corte, in the Campu Calvaggiu area.

A compactor overturned, seriously injuring the driver. Firefighters arrived on the scene and extricated the man from the vehicle.

Then the intervention 118 took charge of the man, who was still alert and conscious, and then transported him in red code by helicopter to the Santissima Annunziata hospital.
