The Cavalcata Sarda, the Festival of Beauty, now in its 75th edition, is about to begin its colorful spectacle in Sassari .

The procession will depart at 9:00 a.m. from the Church of San Giuseppe on Via Asproni, proceeding counterclockwise through the 19th-century heart of the city to Piazza d'Italia, where it will parade in front of the grandstand with over 900 seats. It is scheduled to arrive in Via Manno at 2:00 p.m. , after passing through the Crispo-Bargoni porticoes, descending onto Via Cagliari and Via Brigata Sassari, and then passing through the Emiciclo, Viale Italia, and Viale Mancini.

At 3:30 pm, the horses meet at the hippodrome , and from 6 pm, there's a singing and dancing festival in Piazza d'Italia.

Over three thousand participants are expected, divided into 66 groups on foot and 26 on horseback, ready to represent all the Sardinian provinces.

The parade will be opened by local police motorcyclists, city bands, Carabinieri in full uniform, and the Gonfalone di Sassari. The Gremio dei Massai, the Tamburini, and the folk groups will follow, marching in alphabetical order, preceded by those from Sassari.

The central moment is the Homage to Beauty with 160 women in traditional dress representing the territories of Sardinia.

This year, Videolina will once again be covering the festival live with live broadcasts, specials, and in-depth features, starting at 9 a.m. and continuing until the end.
