It is customary to say it is "African heat" when temperatures soar in Italy. But in this 2022 which is coming to an end, the similarity has become reality.

Suffice it to say that Italy «is registering «temperatures typical of Egypt and, for example, in the last 12 months Olbia has been hotter than Cairo».

This was underlined by the experts of IlMeteo.it, highlighting how even in these last days of December the territories of the South and Islands will be characterized by temperatures typical not of December, but of May.

«High temperatures above 20°C with peaks of 25 degrees are expected for Christmas and Boxing Day, with sea water reaching 19 degrees.

"After an exceptional and hot summer period - the meteorologists continue - 2022 is preparing to become the hottest year in history in Italy, at least since 1800, the year in which slightly more precise average measurements began".

The last week of the year, experts say, will be hot throughout the country and will increase the average temperature of 2022. The updated forecasts show that the African anti-colon will remain undisturbed on our peninsula until at least New Year's Eve.
