Sardinia burns again: in 3 days, 30 fires were put out. 25 hectares of land in smoke in Pabillonis
June has just begun but there are already dozens of interventions by the Forestry Corps. Only in the last hours 13 alarms and helicopters in flight

The month of June started just three days ago, but there are already thirty fires tamed by the teams of the regional fire-fighting system in different areas of Sardinia .
Today alone - Friday - the teams of the Forestry Corps intervened for 13 different emergencies in as many areas of the island and in one case the air vehicles had to support the men in action overland.
The largest fire developed in Pabillonis , in the Is Arenas area.
The firefighting operations were coordinated by the Guspini Forestry Corps Station , assisted by helicopters from the Pula and Fenosu bases.
Two teams of volunteers from the "Prociv Pabillonis" and "Euro 2001 San Gavino Monreale" associations were also on the field to limit the flames.
In the late afternoon the fire was finally put down. In total, in the area of Is Arenas alone, there was damage to 25 hectares of uncultivated land and also arable land.
