After the rains of the past few days, good weather returns to Sardinia. The May 1st long weekend will be a summer appetizer with sunny days, light winds and a significant increase in temperatures .

The weather will remain mild for the entire weekend, until Sunday 4 May, when a light disturbance is expected which should however only bring a few clouds, without significant precipitation.

"While a tail of instability remains with some local precipitation even today, from the next few hours we expect the prevalence of high pressure of African origin that will expand across the Mediterranean with some clouds only close to the reliefs" say meteorologists from the Decimomannu Air Force base.

This, they explain, "will lead to a gradual increase in temperatures with an increase of 4 degrees in the next few days and in the central areas of the island temperatures could even locally exceed 28 degrees ."

Light winds with a breeze along the coasts. "For the weekend an unstable area is approaching from the Atlantic to the Mediterranean which however seems to be losing energy and so on Sunday we could see veils with high and stratified clouds ", the experts conclude.
