Sardinia, 16 fires in a few hours. In Nurri 6 hectares of land go up in smoke

Dozens of men on the ground and comings and goings of aircraft flying to tame the numerous fires that have also broken out in Sardinia today .

The bulletin of interventions released by the Forestry Corps for 15 July 2022 speaks of 16 fires tamed in a few hours in as many locations on the island.

In 7 cases, given the extent of the flames, helicopters also went into action .

The largest front was registered in Nurri , in the locality of Canali scuriosu, where the flames covered an area of 6 hectares of uncultivated land, stubble and vineyards .

In addition, teams and aircraft in action in the territories of Burgos, Tortolì, Aggius, Ozieri, Ardara and Ilbono .
