Dario Giagoni has finally entered the fray: he will be running for mayor of Santa Teresa Gallura. After making a maximum bid last summer, the League MP has broken the deadlock by announcing his role in "Beyond the Mouths," a project that "proposes itself as a path of renewal based on change, participation, and connection with the local area, with the goal of marking a clear break with the past and restoring direct contact with the community"; a team "aiming for collegial work and a clear administrative break."

The priorities, outlined in a press release, include "strengthening healthcare services and the local assistance network, with the aim of improving their continuity and effectiveness; housing interventions for families and young people; and a development strategy that integrates tourism, sailing, and urban planning in a sustainable and continuous manner throughout the year."

Public meetings with residents are planned soon to present the program's guidelines and begin discussions with the local community, as well as present the list of candidates for the City Council. Dario Giagoni will have to contend with outgoing mayor Nadia Matta and two-time mayor Stefano Pisciottu.
