Santa Teresa Gallura, an elderly person, goes out for a walk by the sea and gets lost: found again

Having gone out with his car to take a walk by the sea, he lost his bearings.
There were hours of anxiety in Santa Teresa Gallura for the family of an 87-year-old man on vacation in his summer house.
In the late afternoon the relatives of the elderly man, not seeing him return, alerted 112. immediately the commander of the local Carabinieri station went to hear the elderly's relatives.
The disoriented man, instead of going towards the sea, took the opposite direction and got lost in the maze of country dirt roads and mule tracks. The searches were therefore concentrated in the area and with the sunset they used sirens and flashing lights.
The carabinieri found the man still in the car, stuck in a groove made by rainwater in a dirt road. He was bewildered and afraid, but fortunately in good health, and was handed over to his son.
