Santa Giusta from today has the first centenary. Her name is Francesca Caboni, but for everyone she is Aunt Chicchedda . The granny of the village, currently the only living centenarian , born on January 2, 1922, enjoys excellent health. She married in 1941, at the age of 19, with the same age as Lazzaro Marras, cheesemaker, hard worker and good family man. From their marriage six children were born, four of whom are living: they are Miranda, Silvana, Leonilde and Luciana. But not only. In fact, Zia Chicchedda boasts 18 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and two children of great-grandchildren .

«She has always lived in Santa Giusta, lovingly taking care of her family - says the mayor Andrea Casu who this morning reached her centenary to wish her in person and to give her a bouquet of flowers - Still at her venerable age she loves to sew and embroider with his golden hands . His culinary art is known. Even today he loves to dabble in the kitchen preparing gnocchi, ravioli, tortellini, omelettes and much more».

And who knows if this will be the secret to get to celebrate one hundred springs.
