Sant'Antioco, four red benches against violence against women
On each bench a "plate" with the telephone numbers to contact to report a violence suffered

The new "red benches" dedicated to the victims of femicides will be inaugurated on Tuesday 8 March in Sant'Antioco, on the symbolic day that pays tribute to women.
Four benches in total, donated to the city by Conad, two of which have been positioned in the Garden Park, while the rest are on the Lungomare Cristoforo Colombo promenade. The inauguration will take place in the Garden Park at 11.
The red bench is the symbol of the place occupied by a woman who is no longer there, carried away by violence and, more generally, it is the symbol of a path of awareness towards femicide and male violence against women. Placed in a promenade or in a public garden, it keeps a presence alive.
The new benches are equipped with a "plate" which indicates the telephone numbers to contact in case it is necessary to report a violence suffered.
