Tightening of the checks by the Nuoro carabinieri on the long August 15th bridge . About 280 soldiers , with the use of over 120 vehicles , patrolled the streets and countryside , controlled dozens of meeting places and supervised the safe conduct of fairs and festivals.
Over 250 checkpoints on the roads with around 650 vehicles and a thousand controlled people , 20 searches carried out which made it possible to seize almost 200 grams of narcotic substances , with eight people reported on the loose and another eight reported to the Prefecture .
On the night of August 15th , a young drug dealer was also arrested in the parking lots of a well-known disco in San Teodoro . The personal search and his home search carried out by the carabinieri led to the discovery of 53 grams of cocaine, 8 grams of hashish and 6 of marijuana , as well as the sum of over a thousand euros, divided into banknotes of various denominations.
The young man, at the disposal of the Judicial Authority of Nuoro, was placed under house arrest in his home.
