The CNSAS intervened in San Teodoro to rescue a hiker injured on the cliffs of Capo Coda Cavallo.

The woman, due to an ankle injury, was no longer able to walk independently and her partner called the Emergency Number 112 for help. The 118 Operations Center immediately called the active duty team from the Olbia Station to the scene.
At the same time, the Georesq Operations Center located the injured woman via SMS LOCATOR, the Alpine Rescue geolocation system which, by responding to a message received on the phone, allows the recipient's exact position to be determined.

The woman was reached, stabilized, and transported by stretcher to where the ambulance from the Croce Bianca di San Teodoro was waiting.
