A day center dedicated to the homeless has been inaugurated in San Teodoro . Granted on loan for use to Caritas by the municipal administration, which renovated the building last year, the Mother Teresa Refuge, in the center of the town and open all day, will welcome those who need a welcoming place and will be a point of listening and support for anyone who finds themselves in difficulty.

"The day center is not only a place of welcome but a symbol of solidarity and an opportunity to improve the lives of those who are going through difficult times," say the mayor, Rita Deretta, and the councilor for social policies, Antonella Debertolo, who yesterday cut the ribbon together with the parish priest of the church of San Teodoro Martire, Don Alessandro Cossu.

"Another step forward, the center will be a support point for those who do not have a home and a place of listening for those who need support", adds Don Cossu, thanking the municipal administration and the community for the constant support to Caritas.
