San Gavino, sit-in against the closure of the outpatient clinic in via Nurazzeddu

"The outpatient clinic in via Nurazzeddu di San Gavino will be closed, but we want the health services not to be stolen and not to end up in other countries ". These are the words spoken by enraged citizens for the closure of this public health center announced by the Medio Campidano ASL.

So about a hundred people gathered this morning to protest peacefully in a sit-in organized by the volunteers of the “Cittadini Attivi di San Gavino Monreale” group.
Luca Vaccargiu , energetic spokesperson for the volunteers, strongly points out: “We have collected the alarming reports on the possible closure of this clinic which will lead to the loss of public health services . With this garrison we want to express the utmost concern because from the date of reassurance of the municipal administration to today, the building in via Pascoli, where the health services should be transferred, is without any changes to be able to accommodate the health services present in via Nurrazzeddu ".

And to pay the price would be the common people of San Gavino , but also of the neighboring countries who would risk having to move to other more distant municipalities for blood tests and other specialist visits.
