Ryanair stranded five young men from Gonnosfanadiga on their return from Venice: flight banned
The airline denied them boarding just before they boarded the plane because it considered them unaccompanied minors: the families are turning to a lawyerServizio di Fausto Orrù
Five young people from Gonnosfanadiga were stranded due to a sudden decision by Ryanair, which refused to carry them on their return flight from Venice, claiming they were unaccompanied minors. This was a paradoxical situation, considering that the same airline had allowed them to fly from Cagliari to Italy a few days earlier without raising any objections.
They had already passed all the security checks and were on the bus taking them to the plane when the airline forced them to disembark. The five young people had to buy a ticket to Verona, where they boarded a flight home: all at their own expense .
"The company refused to communicate with us parents," said the mother of one of the boys. The incident prompted the families to seek legal advice to protect their children's rights and clarify the situation.
Fausto Orrù's video features interviews with Milena Matzuzi, mother of one of the boys, and Francesca Calabrò, the families' lawyer.
