Sardinia continues to be gripped by severe weather. Rain continues to fall in several areas, and rising river levels are creating hydraulic problems across the island's basins . The Civil Protection Department is continuously monitoring the dam situation, having responded to several issues detected in the last few hours.

The bad weather is hitting northern Sardinia in particular, with roads closed due to landslides or flooding, serious damage to agricultural production, power outages, and families isolated or evacuated .

The overflowing of the Mannu River represents the major emergency: it has inundated 200 hectares of fields, leaving some rural residents isolated, and the water has even reached homes in the Funtana Vecchia area of Porto Torres, where one family was evacuated . In a hamlet of Ozieri, firefighters intervened with dinghies to rescue 12 stranded people , including a newborn baby.

In Ozieri, road 199 was also flooded, while in Solarussa the Tirso River overflowed on provincial road 15. In Gesturi, however, a large boulder ended up on the municipal road.

The Bosa Marina–Turas coastal road is closed due to a landslide risk , between S'Istagnone and the Magomadas junction. Traffic is blocked on the 128 bis road in the Sassari area due to the flooding of the Betule River between Ozieri and Ittireddu. Provincial road 112 in northern Sardinia is also closed, while between Bolotana and 131, a landslide occurred on provincial road 17 , which has also been closed. Provincial road 19 in the Sassari area, connecting Palmadula with Santa Maria La Palma, passing through the Lake Baratz area, is flooded with debris. A landslide also occurred on provincial road 43, at km 13, near Bonorva , where the farm in the S. Aliderru area was left without power.

Blackouts also occurred in Cardedu and other areas of Ogliastra, but also in Burcei the winds of the last few days caused failures on the power lines in the Corongiu area , which supply the electricity necessary for the operation of the water service systems: water purification plant and pumps of the operator Abbanoa.
