Riola Sardo, at the Parco dei Suoni the music is still waiting

The inspection to understand what interventions need to be carried out in view of the opening of the structure has taken place, but it is not yet known who this summer will perform on the "Parco dei Suoni", a structure owned by the Municipality of Riola Sardo, on the road provincial 66.

«We are waiting to know the outcome of the inspection by the Municipality offices to then intervene», explains the president of the association Andrea Ponti, « only then will we be able to organize something, even if it is now well into May. Maybe".

The association, which in April 2017 had won the tender to manage the structure until 2023, but due to both Covid and the urgent work to be carried out inside had not been able to terminate the concession, accepted about twenty days ago the proposal put forward by the administration, namely the renegotiation of the contract.

In essence it agreed to take care of the extraordinary maintenance of all the properties located within the Park for their timely commissioning. This is in light of the 19 thousand euro debt that the association has with the Authority for non-payment of electricity. In this way the two and a half years lost are recovered. Otherwise there would have been only 4 left, the duration of the works. This is because the law does not provide for a suspension of the effects of the contract due to the pandemic.
