Burdened by the obligation to stay in Quartu , a 57-year-old was arrested by the carabinieri after being expelled from his family home as part of a proceeding for mistreatment of his wife.

The man did not respect the ban on approaching the places frequented by his ex-wife, as documented by the military themselves. The judicial authority had therefore placed him under house arrest in a house other than the one in which he lived.

Now, in case he continues in his behavior and tries again to contact the ex, he could end up in jail.
