Red Cross, the Sardinian board of directors has taken office: the president is Sergio Piredda

The Board of Directors of the Italian Red Cross of Sardinia has been established. The Council, in light of the electoral results, is made up of the president Sergio Franco Gennaro Piredda, the vice president Alessandro Tetti, the vice president councilor representing the Youth Simone Taglioli and Dario Puligheddu and Marina Soro.

The swearing-in ceremony took place at the Cagliari headquarters. Piredda, in his second mandate and previously regional commissioner of the CRI Sardinia, expressed "great satisfaction with the electoral result which led to the appointment of the councilors".

The president adds that «we will work for the diffusion of humanitarian principles and values, the protection of human dignity and the right to health, adaptation to climate change and overcoming emergencies. Furthermore, a single line of action will be promoted for the application of the Regulations and rules in force, for a conscious synergy that leads to the implementation of the objectives that characterize the action of the Red Cross".
