Ramo comes loose and falls in front of the emergency room: near accident in Carbonia

The strong mistral wind that is blowing on our island caused a pine branch to fall on top of a car in Carbonia .

The incident occurred around 2.30pm near the entrance to the emergency room of the Sirai hospital.

The trunk, which broke away from a large plant inside the hospital area, ended up on top of a Ford Focus , parked on the street in the disabled stall, seriously damaging the windscreen and the right pillar of the car.

As luck would have it, at that precise moment no one was passing on the pavement , where the ARST bus stop is also located.

Local police officers from Carbonia and the firefighters arrived on site and cordoned off the area.
