Race between cars interrupted in Sestu, sanctions are triggered

The carabinieri interrupted a sort of clandestine race in Sestu between two cars which, in the locality of “Su Moriscau”, were carrying out dangerous gymnastics in front of a group of people who had gathered on purpose.

Arrived on the spot, the soldiers of the local station together with colleagues from Monserrato blocked a BMW 428 at the wheel of which the owner, a 26-year-old from Cagliari, was located. The car had no front license plate and the rear one was covered with a black magnetic plate. For the young man, penalties were taken for violating various articles of the Highway Code, the vehicle was subjected to administrative detention for three months.

The other car managed to escape.
