This was reported by about twenty associations who, next Saturday, right in Macomer, organize a demonstration in the streets of the center, starting from the station, up to the central Piazza Sant'Antonio. There would be a high rate of suicide attempts and self-harm. And it would resort to a massive use of sedatives.

"Macomer's CPR is a concentration camp". To say this are three members of as many associations, who lead the protest, which will culminate on Saturday morning, right in front of the CPR, where an attempt will be made to bring in a certain number of telephone cards, to allow guests to be able to communicate with the and with their family members.

"A structure where there is no entertainment and free time activities are not allowed - the three leaders of the No Cpr associations, Michele Salis, Filippo Kalomenidis and Luca Pirisi said this morning - there isn't even freedom of worship and there is also the freedom to be able to read a book ". For the No Cpr associations, the Macomer facility, which hosts an average of 50 irregular migrants, is to be closed. The representatives of the various associations invite citizens and students of Macomer and the whole island to take to the streets next Saturday, to demonstrate against a structure so opposed in these 20 months of activity.
