He pretended to be an operator of the Italian Post Office and then robbed a woman .

The Carabinieri of the Pirri station reported a 20-year- old Neapolitan for the crimes of fraud and money laundering who, on June 21, had contacted the victim, a 38-year-old from Cagliari, posing as an employee of the post office and using the technique called " spoofing ".

This type of computer attack can be implemented to falsify various information, such as for example the identity of the sender of a message which could be attributed to the real telephone user of a banking institution, as happened in this case.

The woman, convinced that her current account was about to be blocked, would therefore have been pushed to make a transfer to the advantage of the fraudster .

A 31-year- old from Caserta was also reported for the scam .
