"No to violence against women": the message of mother and daughter killed in Nuoro

“No to violence against women”. This is the message that Maria Giuseppina Massetti and Martina Gleboni, two of the victims of the Nuoro massacre this morning , shared on Facebook, joining an ActionAid awareness campaign . Mother and daughter together, in a photo published on social media, with the initiative's slogan.
Both were killed this morning by Roberto Gleboni , father of the twenty-five year old and husband of the forty-three year old, in the massacre on via Ichnusa . The perpetrator of the murderous rampage also struck the other two children, aged fourteen (not in danger of life) and ten (in hospital in desperate conditions), as well as the neighbour Paolo Sanna (hospitalised at San Francesco), before moving to via Gonario Pinna where he attacked the mother, Maria Esterina Riccardi, who was also seriously injured, before taking his own life.
There have been no previous reports or complaints of violence , with his daughter Martina who – in 2022 – dedicated her degree to her father: «The greatest love of my life» .
