Arzachena responded with a sold-out performance by Roberta Bruzzone . The criminologist and forensic psychologist, one of the most well-known faces in popular television , brought her talk " Love Me to Death. Anatomy of a Toxic Relationship " to the city, drawing a sold-out crowd at the evening show at the Multidisciplinary Auditorium and an equally large turnout at the morning meeting for students.
In the audience, students from the Costa Smeralda Institute for Advanced Studies and the Falcone e Borsellino Scientific High School engaged in a direct discussion on a topic that continues to dramatically bring to the forefront of public attention. Bruzzone analyzed the mechanisms that transform an emotional bond into a dysfunctional relationship, marked by control, manipulation, and a progressive loss of personal autonomy. Particular attention was paid to early warning signs: from constant requests to share one's location to obsessive behavior disguised as concern, to so-called "love bombing," the strategy of excessive attention used to create emotional dependence and isolation.
A clear message, addressed to everyone, as current events teach, but especially to young people: take your time, recognize the warning signs, and learn to defend your emotional boundaries. The initiative is part of the city's theater season and was organized by Deamater.
