« My disabled son has been denied advance ticket sales ». To denounce what happened at The Space in Quartucciu is Renzo Masala, father of Andrea, 23 years old. The man went to the cinema this afternoon to buy the presale of the film "The Little Mermaid" in 3D, in all theaters from tomorrow, but once there he discovered he was not entitled to the presale for his disabled son.

«Andrea saw the advertisement on television and on social media and expressed the desire to be able to see it, obviously we said yes. His aunt, my sister Marina, offered to accompany him», says Renzo Masala, «around 3 pm I went to the cinema, thinking I could, as always happens, buy advance tickets: disabled people everywhere do not pay and whoever accompanies has a 50 percent discount. Except at the Millennium cinema apparently! ».

Once he arrived at the box office, in fact, Masala was denied presale tickets for his son. « I was unable to purchase the discounted tickets, because my son, to take advantage of the discount, would have had to go half an hour early tomorrow and queue, with the risk, however, of not finding a seat and returning home disappointed and with all the consequences that would ensue".

Dad Renzo didn't think twice and immediately bought the full-price tickets , but he says he is strongly resented by what happened. «I'm not making it a matter of money, but of common sense and attention to those who are more fragile . I've never been in a situation like this and I don't understand the company's policy: are disabled people not entitled to presale? Why never? I paid 12 euros each for the tickets and that's fine, Andrea wants to see the film and I couldn't go home without disappointing him, but I think he was treated unfairly».
