Investigations are underway in Quartucciu to shed light on the fire that damaged three local police cars on Saturday.
Several people have been questioned in the last few hours : it cannot be ruled out that the investigators, coordinated by Lieutenant Davide Revelant, commander of the Quartu Company, are following a specific lead, thanks also to the evidence gathered immediately after the arson attack and the images from the cameras placed in the area.
This morning, some people were taken to the police station after some young people had been heard on the street in Quartucciu after the attack.
The silence of the police is understandable: along with the Carabinieri of the Quartu Mobile Radio Operations Unit, the officers from the Selargius and Monserrato stations are investigating, having intervened on Saturday after 11:30 PM when the fire had just been set on the three vehicles parked in the courtyard of the same local police headquarters.
As is known, the episode was harshly condemned by the mayor Pietro Pisu , by the councilors and by the minority council and by the Region.
