Firefight in Sardara, during the night between Saturday and Sunday.

It happened on Via Ariosto, around 2:30 a.m., where unknown individuals, arriving in an off-road vehicle, tore down the shutter of an armory, to steal weapons and ammunition.

The owner of the building, however, apparently noticed what was happening and intervened by looking out a window . The circumstances of the incident are currently being investigated. It appears there was a firefight , with the intruders apparently firing at the man and then fleeing . There are currently no reports of injuries.

After the alarm was raised, the Carabinieri arrived on the scene to conduct surveys and begin the investigation. Several shell casings were found on the asphalt of the road, while the damage from multiple automatic weapon fire was visible on the facade of the building . A veritable war scene.
