Environmental protection and urban cleanup activities continue in Castelsardo. Friday was another day of litter hunting, this time along Provincial Road 90. This is an area that attracts environmentalists, where piles of garbage are concentrated and where it's easier to operate undisturbed. Cleanup operations were concentrated all the way to the border with Valledoria. Econova workers, the company that manages the urban sanitation contract in Castelsardo, with the assistance of the Barracellare company, worked as a team to collect approximately 400 kg of various waste, including air conditioning units and even a car fuel tank. Friday's cleanup is just the latest in a series of environmental protection actions implemented by the municipal administration led by Mayor Maria Lucia Tirotto, which in just a few weeks has resulted in the collection of approximately three tons of waste of all kinds.
