Producer Vincenzo Porru won first prize for the Malvasia di Settimo San Pietro, now in its 15th year. Second place went to Antonello Cabiddu's Malvasia, while third place went to Davide Pili's Malvasia, a wine no stranger to this kind of success, like today's winner Vincenzo Porru. The awards ceremony will be held tonight on the stage in Via Gramsci. A jury of winemakers, sommeliers, and other industry experts will decide the winners.

Meanwhile, today concludes the three-day Festival, featuring visits to the stores, tastings, stands, fine cuisine, and an exhibition of costumes and sacred objects in the parish. The Festival aims to help revive the Malvasia wine, which made Settimo San Pietro famous before the great crisis in the industry.
