Flames in a house in Quartu Sant'Elena.

In the early afternoon a fire broke out, for reasons to be ascertained, in a house in via Riva Villasanta. The fire involved the kitchen located on the ground floor.

The Cagliari firefighters intervened on site and rescued one person and then extinguished the fire, preventing it from spreading to the rest of the structure consisting of a total of two floors.

Nobody was injured.

Also present were healthcare personnel and law enforcement.
