He was driving along via Fadda, in Quartu, at high speed and was noticed by a team from the Flying Squad of the Cagliari Police Headquarters. The officers, suspicious, decided to stop him for a check and from there began the episode that led to the arrest of a forty-four-year-old, already known for previous police records, with the hypothesis of the crime of resisting, violence or threat to a public official and continued aggravated damage, in addition to the complaint for contempt of a public official.

The events occurred late yesterday evening. Despite the use of emergency signals, lights and sounds, the driver of the car did not stop for the checkpoint: he continued his journey, and then stopped in via Fadda. From the very beginning, the forty-four-year-old had an aggressive and violent attitude towards the two officers. So much so that a real fight broke out. And, during his reaction, some family members arrived on the scene to try to stop the police officers and make him run away: the intervention of other crews was necessary .

This morning, in the summary hearing, the investigating judge validated the arrest and ordered him to sign in at the Quartu police station . The forty-four-year-old, after the officers had managed to block him, was accompanied to the police headquarters. The real reason for his reaction is still unclear.
