A 21-year-old man was arrested after he managed to disappear on a scooter. Police tracked him down at his home.

The Carabinieri of the Cagliari Mobile Radio Section arrested a 21-year-old who fled a roadblock.
The incident occurred along State Road 195-bis: officers, conducting a traffic check, ordered a scooter driven by the young man to stop. Instead of stopping, the young man fled toward the town of Pula, initially managing to disappear.
The search allowed him to be located shortly thereafter, at his home. Upon further investigation, he tested positive for a breathalyzer, with a reading just above the legal limit. Furthermore, he was riding an uninsured scooter without a license, which he had never obtained.
The young man was therefore placed under house arrest pending trial by fast-track procedure.
