Two more migrant landings have been recorded on the coasts of Southern Sardinia. Yesterday, in the space of a few hours, a total of 16 migrants from Algeria and Tunisia landed on the coasts of Cala Verde and Abamar.

The first group, landed at Cala Verde around 5 pm, consisted of 7 men and 2 women. The Carabinieri of the Pula Station intervened on site. All in good health, they were transported to the Reception Center of Monastir for the usual photo-signalling procedures . The same procedure was followed for the second group, landed a few hours later, around 9 pm, consisting of 7 men, also in good health.

Both groups used motorboats. The favorable weather conditions allowed good navigation without dangers .
