Pula, attempted alcohol theft at supermarket: one arrest

An attempted theft occurred yesterday at the Jolly supermarket in Pula , where a 21-year-old Romanian man , homeless and already known to the police, tried to steal several bottles of high-quality alcohol.

The young man attempted to evade the anti-theft systems with a shielded bag, but was stopped by the intuition of one of the owners until the arrival of the Carabinieri of Capoterra and Pula.

In the car he arrived in, rented in Sassari, the police found and seized additional bottles of alcohol of dubious origin . The arrested man will appear before a judge today for a summary hearing.
