Protests over the price of milk, in Nuoro a new hearing in the trial of the shepherds

The trial of Sardinian shepherds accused of road blocking following a protest over the price of milk, held in Lula in February 2019, resumes.
In the last hearing, the only witness of the public prosecution was heard, the inspector of the Digos who dealt with the vision of the images of the demonstration held at the crossroads of Lula on February 13, 2019.
The lawyers who assist the defendants - Giulia Lai, Adriano Sollai, Michele Zuddas and Marcella Cabras - however contested the images, as, they argued, the origin of the authors is uncertain and the videos are fragmented so much that they have not recorded the entire course of the event which lasted all day with a large participation of people, about 2000 ".
The next hearing has been set for February 23, 2022: on this occasion the defense witnesses will be heard, including the mayors of neighboring countries who actively participated in the demonstration.
