Indifference has no more place for women who, for months, have been fighting for their dignity and job stability.

Today, three women from the 26 precarious Oss, who have been protesting in Cagliari for days, have chosen to raise their voices and bring their protest to the Regional Council, symbolically occupying the heart of the institutions, in Via Roma.

They did it convinced and disappointed, without waiting for someone to take "care of their situation", a theme that the institutions, too busy celebrating "women of extraordinary normality", seem to have forgotten.

The three protesters, supported by Usb Sanità, have been camped out together with other Oss in front of the statues of Nivola for a few days and just as the president of the Region, Alessandra Todde, opens the extraordinary council to talk about women's rights and struggles, they have decided to raise the tone of the protest.

"It is unthinkable that, on such a significant day for the fight for women's rights, institutions can ignore the human and social drama that is taking place just a few steps away from them," comments Gianfranco Angioni, representative of the union that is leading the protest. "The women who, with courage, decided to protest in the cold, have received no attention from those who should guarantee them dignity and justice."

And so, faced with what they call great indifference, they took a radical decision: to occupy the Regional Council.

Angioni's words are clear : "We will not move from there until someone takes care of them, guaranteeing what they deserve: a stable job. A fight that will not stop until the rights of women, and in particular those who, every day, are on the front lines for the health and well-being of the community, are recognized and defended".

And while the institutions remain silent, there are also 24 other precarious Oss, without a union, without a voice, who are experiencing the same drama.
