One hundred special years for the grandmother from the village of Meilogu, who still proves to have great tenacity and an absolutely iron memory.
Born on August 14, 1923, she had eight children, five boys and three girls, and always took care of her family and the countryside.
A big party in which, in addition to family and friends, the mayor Mariano Soro also took part, representing the municipal administration.
"Aunt Maria Vera - declared the mayor - has allowed us to reach the five centenarians quota". Soro also gave her the birth certificate.
